Production Requirements
In this article, we will walk you through the requirements prior to requesting ID.me Production access. Our goal is to make the transition from Sandbox to Production as seamless as possible. In order to ensure you have fully tested the integrity of your sandbox integration, please ensure you completed the following checklist before requesting production access.
Prerequisite
- Migrating from Sandbox
Step 1. Complete QA Screen Share
Once you have successfully confirmed you are meeting the criteria outlined in the Migrating from Sandbox, you can reach out to your dedicated Solution Consultant to schedule a time for a QA Screen Share.
To ensure the most success at Go Live, the QA screen share is required prior to officially launching ID.me on a partner’s site. Here you will share your screen and walk the ID.me team through the end-to-end UX of your integration in your pre-production environment.
During the screenshare, we will ensure the Integration follows best practices on the ID.me Brand Assets page We will also confirm:
- Identify vulnerabilities pre and post verification
- Confirm success messaging is displayed post verification
- Confirm consumer identity request, api request, access grant and access token activity
- Confirm data exchange and encryption/decryption if applicable
Step 2. Requesting Production Access
Once you successfully verified you are meeting the criteria highlighted above, the next step is to schedule some time with your dedicated Solution Consultant for a QA Screen Share.
During the QA Screen Share, you will walk your dedicated Solution Consultant through your ID.me integration to ensure the criteria above is met, as well as to discuss best practices to ensure our partnership is a success.
If you are unsure who your dedicated Solution Consultant is, you can request production access by selecting the “Request Production Mode” within your ID.me Developer Account.
